Nine Suns Winery is a luxury Napa Valley estate owned by a family with Chinese heritage. We created name, brand identity and pakcaging that were inspired by a mythical tale: In ancient China, ten suns once shared the sky. When they rose together, Lakes dried and crops perished. The God of Archery was summoned to save the land. He aimed. Nine suns fell. He left only the one we have today, keeping heaven and earth in perfect balance. This legendary story of harmony and power is the essence of Nine Suns. I played a pivotal role building this identity and design system.
